My name is Linda and I teach art and photography, which happens to be a second, or was it my third, career change. I help my students with their portfolios and help get their photographs into juried shows and on display as often as I can. It is time I take my own advice. I was 12 when my father started a photography studio and gave me my first SLR. I live on the south shore of Long Island, and while not a fan of all the traffic, still love the variety Long Island has to offer. Photographing the Great South Bay, Manhattan, and the variety of gardens and town from the Bronx to Montauk, helps to hone my skills. In addition to landscapes, I love abstract, macro, and still life photography and drive my friends crazy since I always wander off with my camera. My ultimate dream job is to be a rock concert photographer but teaching is just as fun and exciting.
I am a newcomer to the gallery and I hope you enjoy my photographs.
