| Long Island Artist - John Schmahl |
 My name is John Schmahl. I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. A simple walk would always turn into me stopping to snap a picture of a tree, a bird, a dog or whatever else was in around me. Not too long ago I decided to upgrade to a good digital SLR camera. I purchased a Canon Rebel XS and started photographing the usual subjects with more intensity. My passion for photography continues to grow and I am happy to share some of my favorite images with the all the visitors on this Long Island Photo Gallery website.
